This is how the T110E5 armor was fixed in test 2 (compare to old version)

20.08.2015 Q&A

- Storm on artillery: "It's cool and necessary in the game"
- Storm doesn't agree with the statement that after the "historical" Japanese heavies "anything goes"
- Japanese heavy branch was planned as early as three years ago but was not implemented due to series of coincidences until now
- Storm on new vehicles in WoT: "Only very few real life vehicles are left to implement and therefore the majority of upcoming vehicles will be more or less paper."
- according to Storm WoT is planned to run at least 5 more years: "Several dozen remaining real vehicles spread across next 5 years, that's really few"
- cool features coming in next 5 years? "I won't promise anything"
- only very few full branches can be collected from remaining historical vehicles, those that can be collected will be slowly implemented into the game
- Storm specifically confirms: EU tree is cancelled completely ("Too many complications with it")
- there is no trend of implementing only large tanks lately (some players are complaining about that based about the Japanese and the KV-4 KTTS)
- developers are hoping to make Redshire a nice map with the overhaul
- WoT notebook optimization? "No comment"
- some time ago, Storm mentioned an overhaul of the Foch 155 (different gun, loss of autoloader), now he states it's not planned for now
- it's possible to give Japanese heavies the type of gold ammo the SU-100Y has, there's however no reason to do it
- Black Prince winter camo is not too transparent, in fact according to Storm it is more visible than on other vehicles
- supertesting of the first of artillery changes is planned soon
- new motion physics is relatively close

AMX M4 Mle.49 Armor

Hello warriors,

here's a detailed view of the frontal armor of the new French tier 8 premium:

Swedish Tanks Part 24: Ikv 91

Author: sp15

Well it’s finally time for another instalment of the Swedish tanks series. But first I want to apologize for the lack of articles from me. I have been busy collecting data on the Swedish medium branch for WG and simply have not had that much time left over, anyhow lets get this article started.

In the early 60s the vehicles in use by the Swedish infantry divisions were quickly becoming obsolete. Many had been acquired during ww2 and their age and variety meant that they shared little to nothing in the way of the spare parts. Not only that but they also lacked the firepower necessary on the modern battlefield. In an attempt to replace these vehicles the Swedish army started a project called Ikv ny. After setting up the requirements they contacted the three Swedish companies still developing armored vehicles to come up with proposals for the project. In 1965 a after 16 different proposals had been evaluated the army decided to go with one of the proposals from Hägglunds & Söner.

Polish Premiums Coming

Hello warriors,

according to an interview for a Polish website (from an interview with developers at Gamescom), Polish tanks are coming next year to World of Tanks with the first Polish tank being the 20mm version of the TKS tankette that will come in early 2016.

That's the good news (for Polish players anyway). The bad news is - premium tanks only, no regular branch is planned. So far two or three premium Polish tanks are planned for next year. It is currently not known what crews will they have, it's possible they will form some sort of "Polish minitree" with premium tanks only - or they will be a part of the Soviet tree the way the Turán appeared in the German tree. We'll just have to see.
